Shipping & Returns

Our shipping policy and processing rates cover the expenses we incur in processing your order, packing the purchased item(s), transportation and related overhead. 

All products are shipped from Kennett Square, PA by USPS.  

Most stock (non-personalized) items ship within 1-3 business days of receipt. 
Die-cuts and other made-to-order items ship within 5-6 business days of receipt.  Allow an additional day or two for large orders.  
Personalized and custom items will ship 3-4 business days after approved proof. See proofing section below for more details.


TRANSIT TIMES: 

Once your package leaves our studio, you can expect the following transit times for delivery within the continental* US (barring extreme weather conditions and holidays):

First Class - 3 business days or less depending on your "ship-to" address.  
Parcel Post - 2-9 business days

Priority Mail - 2-3 business days 
Priority Mail Express - Overnight to most locations

International First Class – Shipping times vary by destination. Please allow at least 2-3 weeks.

Priority Mail International – 6-10 business days to most locations
Priority Mail Express International – 3-5 business days to most locations
Global Express Guaranteed - 1-3 business days to most locations

You will receive an email the day your order is shipped which will include tracking information. We guarantee packages are delivered to the USPS. However, from this point, we do not take responsibility for the delivery of the shipment to you. Residential deliveries that do not require signature may be left in a safe place, out of sight and out of weather at the driver's discretion. This could include the front door, side porch, back porch and garage area.

 

{INTERNATIONAL ORDERS}

There is no delivery confirmation for international orders. We will do our very best to ensure the delivery of your item, but if your customs or immigration seizes the item, unfortunately, there is nothing we can do. Please ensure that you have received packages from the United States before as we DO NOT REFUND FOR LOST OR UNDELIVERED INTERNATIONAL PACKAGES.


RETURNS

Approved returns must be received back into our studio its original form and packaging. We will issue a refund as soon as we received and inspected the package.  We reserve the right to reject any returns and exchanges that do not meet these conditions.

Please note that some speciatly items will carry a re-stocking fee up to 50%. Custom items may not be eligible for return.  Please contact us to discuss.

Paper Straws:
Beecause straws are to be used with food and drinks they are not returnable due to health and safety reasons. Please ensure the colors, sizes, and items are correct when ordering. 

Personalized Stickers, Tags, Business Cards:
Due to the personalized nature of these items, all printed and/or assembled items in a custom printing order cannot be returned or refunded at any time.  It is extremely important for you to proofread your digital proof carefully. The final approved proof will will be queued for printing.

CANCELLING A PERSONALIZATION ORDER:
Scrap Bits will NOT print an order without customer approval.  Please be mindful of your event date.  All personalized tag & sticker orders cancelled within 2 weeks after proofing and before printing, will be assessed a $6 typesetting fee.   Any personalized orders not approved within 2 weeks of proofing are non-cancellable and non-refundable.  We will send up to 2 reminders to review your proof if we haven't heard from you.  All non-responsive personalized orders will be permanently voided from our production schedule after 60 days and will not be shipped.  Once your order has been printed, it is non-refundable and will be shipped.

Custom Business Card orders cancelled after proofing will be assessed a flat $25 design fee.
